• Real talk about your business, creative career, or personal brand – from someone who's actually built them.

1:1 Office Hours Consultation

As a self-taught designer and entrepreneur, I know what it’s like to have a million questions and no idea where to start. Office Hours is a one-hour conversation where we dig into whatever's most useful to you. No fluff, no templated frameworks, no homework assignments. Just honest, specific feedback from someone who's been in the weeds.

Here’s how it works…

  • 1. Book your session.

Grab a spot using the link below. You'll select a time and complete payment to confirm.

  • 2. Fill out the intake form.

I'll send you a short questionnaire to fill out at least 24 hours before our call. The more specific you are, the more useful our time will be.

  • 3. We chat.

We’ll hop on a 60-minute Zoom call where we work through your questions. I'll come prepared having reviewed everything you sent me.

  • 4. Follow up.

After the call, I'll send you a written summary of what we covered plus links to any resources or references I mentioned, so you have something to refer back to.

  • Office Hours are perfect for you if...

✅ You're a creative person, freelancer, small business owner, or someone building a personal brand who has questions you can't quite answer on your own.

✅ You're pivoting, relaunching, or starting something new and want a real sounding board before you build the whole thing.

✅ You want feedback on your portfolio, website, or visual identity from someone with actual design experience.

✅ You want honest, no-fluff answers based on real experience.

Meet Your Mentor

I’m Lizzie Campbell – a multi-hyphenate designer and creative with over a decade of experience in creative fields.

I'm a designer and writer based in Chicago with 10+ years of experience across design, brand strategy, copywriting, and marketing — I’ve worked in-house at small businesses and large organizations, freelanced and ran my own branding studio, and worked in a creative agency setting.

I've worn a lot of hats, which means I've seen a lot of different kinds of brand problems and know how to spot what's actually going on.

“OMG, I never even thought of that.”

I'm currently in the early-to-mid stages of launching a new business venture and Lizzie was an incredible resource, I'm so happy that I was able to book with her for Office Hours. She provided real-time insights, feedback, and insider intel that helped me iron out so many next steps and priorities as I'm working toward a new launch. She had several ideas that made me go, "omg, I'd never even thought of that." It was invaluable to be able to bounce ideas and questions off of someone whose knowledge and eye I really trust. After the call, she delivered an incredibly thorough list of resources and links that I can't wait to dive further into. 10/10, a great investment!!

FAQ

  • More than you'd think. Most people come in with one big question and we end up uncovering two or three things underneath it. Common topics include personal brand positioning, bio and messaging help, portfolio and website feedback, content strategy, creative career pivots, and figuring out how to present a nonlinear background without it feeling like a mess. If you're not sure whether your thing qualifies — it probably does. The only things I won't touch are legal and financial advice.

  • Fill out the intake form thoroughly. I'll send it to you at least 24 hours before our call, and the more specific you are, the more useful our time together will be. You don't need to have everything figured out before we talk — but knowing roughly what you're trying to solve helps us skip the throat-clearing and get into the good stuff.

  • I'll send you a written follow-up summarizing what we covered, any recommendations I made, and links to resources or references I mentioned. So even if you're a terrible note-taker, you'll have something concrete to refer back to.

  • Not by default, but if you'd like one just let me know when you book and we'll make sure it's set up before we start.

  • No problem — just give me at least 24 hours notice and we'll find a new time that works.

  • Yes, and a lot of people do. Some questions need a follow-up once you've had time to sit with the first conversation. Just book through the same link and we'll pick up where we left off.

  • No – Office Hours is intentionally one-off. There's no program to join, no ongoing commitment, no homework between sessions. If you want to book again down the line you absolutely can, but there's no expectation of continuity. I designed it this way on purpose because I know you've probably already been burned by things that require more of your time and money than they should.

  • You totally can, I did! But it took me nearly a decade. Google gives you general advice written for a hypothetical person. This is a conversation with someone who's actually looking at your specific situation — your portfolio, your brand, your background — and telling you what's actually going on.

  • Fair. If you're a creative person, freelancer, or someone building a personal brand with questions you can't quite answer on your own, it's probably a good fit. If you're looking for done-for-you design work, ongoing coaching, or you're in a field totally outside of creative work — it's probably not. Still not sure? Send me an email and we'll figure it out together.
